I took Hannah to the Hope Pregnancy Center's Purity Ball. We got to dress up, dance the night away, and talk about how special Hannah is and how much God loves her and wants her to truly be a princess!

I typically enjoy the cold weather. Especially when it snows! But, my last post was for the theme COLD and featured hot sauce. Today's features some flip flops and sunglasses...IN THE SNOW! I am starting to see a pattern towards warm and warm temperatures. Here's hopping that this makes you feel a little warmer...in the dead of winter!

Hot Sauce...Not Cold!

It's opposite day! I love this hot sauce on my Qdoba burrito! I normally do not add hot sauce to my food, but this kind has a sweet flavor that I think is pretty yummy!

If I Call It A Hobby...

In keeping with the SNAP365 theme of HOBBY, I took this picture. The idea was that maybe if I try to make it more fun, I will actually want to empty the dishwasher! So far, that has not been the case!

We usually have a system at our house. I stick my hands in the dirty sink and load the dishwasher and Wendy put the clean dishes away. I have been slacking on my part, so I fell that until I get my act together, I need to do both. I'm still slacking.

At any given time at our house, we have dirty dishes in the sink and clean ones in the dishwasher.

iHobby!

Our first night back from NOLA. I didn't take my Mac Book Pro with me on the trip because I needed my work laptop and did not want to take two computers. Ya feel me? So after the settling back in and the kids were in bed, what did I do?

I jumped on my computer! I missed her!

I Could Do This All Day!

We stayed at the Hilton Riverside while in New Orleans this week. On the top floor was an Executive Lounge. On one side the lounge over looked the city, on the other side was the Mississippi river. I sat for about an hour just watching all the ships pass by. This huge one come through as I was about to meet back up with Wendy. I was amazed at it's size and how effortlessly it seemed to make the turns in the river. It was amusing to watch the other ships get out of it the way of this dude!

I love Krystal's burgers! I think they are awesome! We took a trip to New Orleans for a few days and right near Bourbon street was a sweet looking Krystals! I didn't get into the restaurant, but this picture is good enough for me!

Phoning It In

I will admit that this photo was a last minute (11:36pm) idea and my wife's ideas at that! We have been practicing Dave Ramsey's ideas for about 4 years. It has changed our lives and shown us how God wants us to handle our money. However, over the past year we have been "phoning it in". Such is true with this photo!

One is Plenty!

With my daughter's help and the Autostich App for my iPhone, I created the number 100! As much as I love her, I am still not convinced I would want 100 Hannah's running around!

I tried for ever to pull this off! I could get it set up, then I would bump the table. Set it up, then the dog would bump the table as if we JUST put the table there! All in place and ready to snap the photo, then the girls would want to see what I was doing!

A NEW form of text messaging

Meetings can be fun, educational, informational, but rarely inspirational. I try, most of the time fail, to tell my wife that I love her and to come up with different ways to say it. Of course we all text our loved ones the simple "I love you" text, but sometimes that can get boring or even look like you are 'phoning it in.'

While I sat through this meeting, I was thinking about what my wife, who had the day off, was doing with our girls. I thought about how great of a wife and mom she is. I decided to send a simple text professing my love for her. I looked up from typing the message out to see a co-worker doodling his daughter's name on his notepad. As a dad, that in itself is inspirational, but I'll save that for another time. Thats when the idea came to write my love letter, snap a photo, then send it via a text message. Simple, I know, but different.

Something old, something NEW, something borrowed, something...red

Every once in a while we will get a coupon for a free Red Box movie. Today was one of those days. I decided to make this my "NEW" SNAP365 photo! I rented The Other Guys. I'm hopeful that it will be worth my out-of-pocket expenses!
